Welcome to the KCRFC E-mail Newsletter. We are trying a new service so we ask that you open this email up so that we know that you have received it. We plan to send something out every two weeks during the off-season and then after every match during the season. You can reply to this e-mail with any suggestions or comments.
Schedule - Spring 2020 REVISED - April 4, 2020 will be a home match vs. UCM. We will be hosting the Heart of America Rugby Tournament the Weekend of March 28-29. We will need any and all volunteers to work gate, concession, touch judge, clock operators. This tournament has a lot to offer us as a fundraiser and a recruiting tool. Email kcrfc64@gmail.com with your commitment and time restrictions if you have them.
FOUNDATION - TEXAS HOLD 'EM The Foundation is holding its 3rd Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament on Friday February 7 at St. Agnes. These fundraisers only work when you get members from outside the club to join in. So please starting talking to friends, co-workers, and let's do it!
THIRD THURSDAY - 2/20/20 The February Third Thursday will be at Johnnie's on 7th, 55 S 7th St, KCK 66101. Starts at 7p and pending on the weather any Old Boys that want to get a run in we may have a little training session with club. More to come.
Old Boys Match - April 25 @ Des Moines Dust off the boots and join us for an Old Boys match in Des Moines, IA versus the Des Moines Old Boys. This will be for members that are 40 years of age and older. The beauty of Old Boys rugby is the open substitution format so you can get as many "breathers" as you need during the game.
