The Club is sad to share the news of the passing of club member Mike Murphy #7102.
MEMORY LANE - 1976 We need to update many members contact information, so that we can get the information out to everyone. I will continue to send out a list of members that we have No Status on (see below), so if you do know how to contact them, send them a note and ask them to send their contact information to kcrfc64@gmail.com or to tell us they are not interested and we can remove them from the lists.
President's Message I sincerely hope this message finds you well from a physical, mental, and emotional state. I’m not sure about you, but the longer I stay hunkered down, the more I think that rugby should be an “essential business” during this difficult time. When you think about it, rugby is a great stress reliever and a sport you can legally take out your frustration on an opposing side - and often times get away with “illegal release of frustration.” We all know physical exercise is good for us and I can think of no other time where this of more importance that during this time – it’s just too bad it can’t be accomplished through the game we all love. What makes this more frustrating for me is to have seen the level of energy and play the team put on the field against Little Rock – but one day we will be back at it, and I hope with more passion and appreciation for the club, the game, and most importantly – each other.
