THE ROBERT RINEHART MEMORIAL AWARD
In the spring of 1979, the Executive Committee decided to create an award in the honor of Robert L. Rinehart, who died tragically in June 1972.
This trophy is awarded to the person who best exemplifies the true rugby spirit in the manner of Robert Rinehart and is worded as follows:
“Kansas City Rugby Football Club Robert Rinehart Memorial Award in recognition of exemplary service, dedication and encouragement of the true spirit of rugby.”
